FUJIFILM X-T1 - Why is there no real GPS? (using your phone for GPS doesn't cut it).

The Fuji X-T1 is. so. close. Love the water sealing and the WiFi.
But:
- Why is the GPS optional? Using a phone's GPS is not great because often the GPS is wrong especially when you are not in a city or in a city blocked by skyscrapers. The GPS accessory for my Nikon 1 V1 is better than the GPS in my Nexus 5 for example. Hey it's the 21st century and it makes no sense that prosumer cameras are less full featured than cameraphones.
- Why is there no SDK? Of course this is unfair since only Samsung and Sony have SDKs but hey it's the 21st century and it makes no sense that prosumer cameras are less full featured than cameraphones.
- Why are there are no camera apps? Of course this is unfair since only Samsung and Sony have camera apps but hey it's the 21st century and it makes no sense that prosumer cameras are less full featured than cameraphones.
Conclusion: I'll never understand camera product managers :-) !!
