Nikon 1 V2 - Three weeks in France test
surprisingly good except for the GPS taking too much power and making the form factor a bit awkward

Not surprising actually that the Nikon 1 V2 was fun while in Paris for 3 weeks. Just wish Nikon could build the GPS into the camera and improve its power consumption. Not having to worry about the awkward GPS apps (like the ones from Fuji and Olympus) meant foot lose and fancy free once the GPS locked on! A V4 with everything built in and decent battery life and a smaller less awkward form factor would be great. Don't think I will be getting a V3 because everything is optional (including the EVF which is silly) and the form factor is just as problematic.
