Note5 hangs in the lockscreen

hoping this will be fixed in a firmware update

The Note5 hangs every few days in the lock screen which means I can't take photos. Why? Odd ! Can't figure out a pattern on how to reproduce nor how to workaround the problem. Never seen anything like it in the many Nokia and Apple cameraphones I've used over the years. Other than that and the focus hunting it's a great . . .

Never seen this level of auto-focus "hunting" on Nokia or Apple cameraphones! Perhaps it's a chipset thing? Does the G4 or the Sony Z3/Z4 hunt in this way?

Nikon 1 V2 - Three weeks in France test

surprisingly good except for the GPS taking too much power and making the form factor a bit awkward

Not surprising actually that the Nikon 1 V2 was fun while in Paris for 3 weeks. Just wish Nikon could build the GPS into the camera and improve its power consumption. Not having to worry about the awkward GPS apps (like the ones from Fuji and Olympus) meant foot lose and fancy free once the GPS locked on! A V4 with everything built . . .

Fujifilm Cam Remote works better with iOS than Android

isn't Android's "true" multi-tasking supposed to be better?

The iPhone6 plus pairs very quickly with Fuji's Cam Remote. The S6 Edge didn't; it was noticeably slower and more awkward. Samsung's fault? Android's fault? Who knows but it just goes to show you that theory is different from practice!
